Govt of Punjab Jobs 2023 at Punjab Human Capital Investment Project
The Punjab Human Capital Investment Project (PHCIP) aims to help poor and vulnerable families in certain areas of Punjab by making good healthcare, education, and social support more accessible. This project is backed by the Government of Punjab and the World Bank, with funding from both parties. It started on May 18, 2020, and will end on June 30, 2025, with a total budget of US$ 330 million – the World Bank provides US$ 200 million, and US$ 130 million comes from other funding sources.
PHCIP operates in 11 districts of Punjab, including Muzaffargarh, Bahawalpur, Rajanpur, DG Khan, Rahimyar Khan, Bahkkar, Mianwali, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran, Layyah, and Khushab. The project is carried out by various organizations, including the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA), the Primary and Secondary Health Department (PSHD), and the Punjab School Education Department (SED). The project will be active from 2021 to 2025, and the Punjab Social Protection Authority (PSPA) is in charge of managing it.
