Punjab Information Technology Commission has launched an integrated ‘Punjab Online Jobs’ website which will allow job seekers to view all Punjab Government Jobs on a single platform. This portal will bring transparency and fairness to the recruitment process. It will also reduce administrative costs and the burden on government departments. With the click of a button, new businesses can be created and made available to the masses. Candidates will be selected electronically according to the criteria specified in the contract and recruitment policy. The portal will enable departments to create interactive schedules, prepare data comparisons and identify applicants from different databases such as NADRA, Driver Management System, Housing System and Criminal Database. Candidates can create a profile from an employee’s resume, use advanced search methods to find jobs that match their skills, link to public profiles (LinkedIn and Facebook), and receive event information via email and SMS.
