Ministry of Planning YDF Program 2023 for Young Development Fellows

The Ministry of Planning Development & Special Initiatives, often referred to as MoPD, is under the leadership of the Minister for Planning Development & Special Initiatives, a requisite member of the Pakistan Parliament.

The primary entity within this ministry is the Planning Commission of Pakistan, which serves as the principal financial and public policy development institution for the Government of Pakistan. The Planning Commission conducts research studies and formulates state policies aimed at bolstering the national economy and expanding the country’s public and state infrastructure.

Youth Development Fellows (YDFs) will collaborate with the Ministry of Planning, Development, and Reform to contribute to the formulation and implementation of Vision 2025 and the 11th Five-Year Development Plan for the Government of Pakistan. In addition to their support, they will also receive vital training and gain expertise in their respective fields.

The core mission of YDF is to encourage social cohesion within Pakistani society through a youth-led movement, with the aim of breaking down socio-cultural, religious, and communal barriers, celebrating the nation’s diverse social fabric, and safeguarding the rights of minority and marginalized groups.

The Ministry of Planning, Development, and Special Initiatives announced the 2nd batch of the YDFs Programme (2nd Phase) to groom talented young women and men.YFD is a unique opportunity for young people who are highly qualified and motivated.
